We offer a 2021 200hp Sea Pro 228 with a maximum capacity of 6 or a 2-person CustomGheenoe with a 2022 8hp trolling motor.  

Our rental period is typically for 5 hours, but we also offer full-day rentals.  On days where the tide demands, the rental will begin later in the day rather than in the morning.  At times, availability may allow us to be flexible on the rental times, beginning at a requested start and end time for the rental.

A boating license is required to operate a boat with a HP of 10 or greater if you were born on or after Jan 1, 1988 per FL law.  Our Gheenoe does not require a boating license but the Renter and Operator must be at least 21 years of age.  For the Bareboat Chartering of the Sea Pro 228, the Operator must have sufficient knowledge and experience in boating; otherwise, we will require that you include a First Mate for your reservation or hire a US Coast Guard licensed Captain.  

We require a $350 Security Deposit on the Gheenoe rental and a $1000 Security Deposit to charter the Sea Pro 228.  The Deposit will either be refunded or partially refunded within 48 hours of the completion of the charter or rental period, following an inspection of the vessel.  Any amount withheld will be itemized.  Matters that permit withholding of any portion of the Security Deposit include physical damage to the vessel or motor, missing items, extreme wear of the vessel during the rental or charter period, or for fuel as applicable.

We permit the Gheenoe to be taken out of either the Cockroach Bay Boat Ramp or the Sunlit Cove Boat Ramp.  If you are hiring a licensed Captain, we permit the Sea Pro 228 to be taken out of the Seminole Boat Ramp or Gandy Boat Ramp.  Otherwise, the Cockroach Bay Boat Ramp is the designated meeting place.  We strongly recommend the Hallelujah Keys off the Cockroach Bay Boat Ramp for fishing success.

The boats will be fully fueled up at the commencement of your trip.  Fuel charges will not apply to the Gheenoe rental nor to a Bareboat Charter of the Sea Pro 228 so long as you deploy from Cockroach Bay Boat Ramp and remain in the Hallelujah Keys.  If you are hiring a Captain, we will deliver the vessel trailered and the vessel must be returned with a full tank of gas.

If we deem you to not be qualified to operate the Sea Pro 228 and you choose not to hire a US Coast Guard certified Captain, we will require that you include a First Mate in your reservation.  The cost of the First Mate will act as the Paid In Full Tip and is due at the time of booking.  The First Mate will perform all duties necessary for you to have a pleasurable experience on the vessel.  The First Mate option is only available for bookings from Cockroach Bay Boat Ramp.  

The cost of the total booking is due at the time of booking.  The Security Deposit is due 48 hours prior to the commencement of your departure time.

If you choose to cancel your booking 72 hours + in advance to your commencement time/date, the penalty is 50% of the booking total.  Should you cancel less than 72 hours in advance, the penalty is the total cost of the booking in full.  Should you refuse or fail to pay the Security Deposit within 48 hours prior to the commencement of your departure time, we will consider the booking to be canceled by the customer and the penalty will be the full amount paid for the booking.  If your booking included a First Mate, 50% of the tip that was paid in advance will be retained as a consideration to the First Mate.
